Stroke is the biggest cause of disability in the UK with almost 2 thirds of stroke survivors leaving hospital with a disability.

Unhidden is a collection of Socially responsible adaptive fashion for people with (and without) Disabilities. There are 1 billion people with Disabilities worldwide. Yet there are currently more clothing ranges for dogs than for Disabled people. Unhidden creates adaptive clothing designed for wheelchair users, amputees, people with gastrointestinal conditions and a range of other Disabilities.

This isn’t just about clothes. It’s about giving Disabled people dignity in their wardrobes and the freedom to express identity like everyone else.  Unhidden is a fashion company with social justice woven into the soul of its mission so a perfect partner for Style For Stroke to work with.Going back its roots the collection is full of slogan tees that are on trend and topical and perfect for the Summer wardrobe.

Founder of Style for Stroke, Nick Ede says: “I am so excited to be launching this year’s campaign featuring this empowering collection of slogan tees. When I found out about the work that Victoria has been doing to create an inclusive fashion range for people with disability, I knew we had to collaborate. Style For Stroke has always been about being inclusive, cool and compassionate with an edge, and I think the new designs really speak for themselves.”

Founder of Unhidden, Victoria Jenkins said: “When Nick contacted me for this collaboration I was absolutely thrilled as our missions are so closely aligned- raising awareness and funds for such an important cause is exactly why I do what I do- to shine a light on subjects we don’t see enough of. We’ll be using deadstock fabric to make the t-shirts (saving the fabric from landfill) and toxin free eco dyes for the prints themselves as well as paying our seamstresses properly- this collaboration is truly putting people and planet first.”

A minimum of 50% of the retail price from the sale of each T-shirt will go to the Style For Stroke Foundation. This limited edition collection is available in xs to xxl and launches on the 20th June, priced at £30 per tee. Available to purchase here www.styleforstrokefashion.com The Tee shirt manufacturers are the made order ethical tee brand Tee Mill. This means there is no waste.
