Born in Brazil and having lived in over 8 countries, experiencing more than 20 moves across various cities, Alexa Connolly embodies adaptability and resilience. 

Her journey reflects a life shaped by diverse cultures and the strength needed to navigate constant change. 

As a multilingual language tutor proficient in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian, Alexa's passion for fostering communication extends beyond the teaching.

For over three decades, she has humbly dedicated her time to the charity circuit, making a tangible difference in the lives of others.

 Alexa has served as a fundraiser for the Princes Trust Foundation (Youth Business International), highlighting her commitment to supporting youth empowerment and entrepreneurship.

Alexa's philanthropic spirit further shines through her roles as an ambassador for Medicinema Charity working alongside Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Foundation and Global Gift Foundation where she brings the joy of cinema and contributes to various global initiatives. 

As a trustee for Veniños and the Schulmberger Spouses Association, she actively engaged in projects aimed at improving the lives of underprivileged children and fostering community collaboration within the corporate world. 

A fortuitous encounter at a charity event in 2021 tail end of Covid, with an entrepreneurial individual , Alexa was invited to assist at two fundraising Balls where she solicited hundreds  of prizes for online and live auctions. 

In a recent personal trial, Alexa confronted a significant challenge, having bravely navigated a stroke on January 1, 2022.

 Her family played a pivotal role in her survival, swiftly recognizing the signs and remaining vigilant to the symptoms associated with a stroke. Their prompt and informed response became the cornerstone of Alexa's recovery, underscoring the critical importance of awareness in such health crises. 

Her personal experience has deepened her commitment to the cause, and she considers it an honour to serve as a trustee for the Style for Stroke Foundation, emphasising the significance of recognising and responding to health challenges. Alexa Connolly's humility, adaptability, and enduring commitment to charitable causes make her a compassionate and impactful trustee.
